George Martin is an energetic, motivational speaker that enjoys meeting people. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina and grew up in Fairfield, California. George is a well renowned former professional athlete and accomplished corporate executive.

Currently George serves as Co-Founder & Executive Director of Minority Athletes Networking Etc. Inc. a 501(c)3 not for profit organization.

President & Chief Executive Officer of the National Football League Alumni Association was George’s next position, serving from 2009 until 2012.

In 2007, George founded the incredible "a Journey for 911". (501C3 Not for Profit organization) which brought recognition and funding for rescue and recovery workers from 9/11. He also serves as President of the organization.

The years between 2004-2008 found George in the Financial Industry as Vice President, AXA Equitable. There he headed up the AXA Sports Financial Services Department. In 1997-2004, he served as Vice President of Mutual of New York - The MONY Group (Financial Services Industry). Helping to create and serve as Sports Financial Services Department Head. George’s first venture into Corporate America landed him as Vice President of Tanagraphics Inc., a Commercial Printing firm. His position was VP Human Resources, Operations, Industrial Waste Management, Security.

1988- Present: Co-Founder Minority Athletes Networking Etc. Inc. (501(c)3 not for profit)

In 1975, George was drafted as a Professional Athlete for the New York Football Giants as Defensive end. A few of his many responsibilities were: Team Captain, Consultant against drug abuse, Chapel Leader, Player Representative and President of the NFL Players Association. He retired after a remarkable 14 years in 1988.
